Research Interests
I am interested in flowering plants’ biodiversity, taxonomy, molecular phylogeny and biogeography. My pet group is Vincetoxicum (Apocynaceae: Asclepiadoideae). My research collaborations extend to applied studies in the fields of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. My future research interests include exploration of biodiversity, reconstructing the phylogeny and biogeographic patterns of Asian (South Asia in particular) flowering plants especially the order Gentianales.
